On the occasion of the V centenary of the birth of Jerónimo Muñoz, celebrated by the University of Valencia during the year 2023, the second edition of this book has been published, which includes the life and work of ten Valencian astronomers who lived between the 16th and 20th centuries, written by 21st century astronomers.

The book is a compilation of ten short scientific biographies of Valencian astronomers: Jeroni Muñoz, Josep Saragossà, Tomàs Vicent Tosca, Jordi Joan, Tomàs Vilanova, Gabriel Ciscar, Faust Vallés, Josep J. Landerer, Antoni Tarazona and Ignasi Tarazona.

The authors have made ​​an important synthesis effort. In less than ten pages devoted to each biography, they collect the most relevant scientific features; ten pages well prepared, allowing the reader to get closer to the historical context and the contribution of each Valencian astronomer.
