The University of Valencia, for more than five centuries of history, has compiled and generated a cultural, scientific and natural heritage that, generally, is almost invisible, closed inside the departments, in many cases totally underused. With this book we want to bring it into light, to make it be known and acquired a new meaning to increase prestige, visibility and accessibility, to make it be understood and, therefore, valued. May it serve as a source of new research, a stimulus for future naturalists and scientists, source of knowledge for researchers and people curious about knowledge. It is not an extensive guide or overwhelming listings; We have only opened our drawers a little so that you can take a quick look at these “treasures”, which we hope you will be able to discover through these pages and enjoy our facilities.
